MediaPresenter is a software tool providing an effective way to present digital images and text, with visual annotation tools that support spontaneous interaction in educational settings.
Using this software you may quickly organize, present and annotate graphic images, QuickTime™ movies and text files. It's unique visual highlight tool, along with its paint style annotation tools, provide methods to temporarily mark up visual materials on the fly to encourage discussion within a classroom environment.
You can also attach notes to images within a presentation, providing a very easy way to share comments about images between several viewers who each have a copy of MediaPresenter. With an external monitor hooked up to your Macintosh™ or PowerBook™, you can also privately view notes (without the audience seeing them) to help remember key points to make during your presentation.
In this limited edition of the software you can make presentations of up to 10 items.
MediaPresenter 1.3 adds the following features:
1. Display (without file conversion) of JPEG, GIF, and PhotoShop graphic files. This feature requires version 2.5 of the QuickTime Extension.
2. You may now enlarge, reduce, and move around a displayed image.
3. Ability to set the presentation window to display on a second monitor if one is hooked up to your PowerBook or Macintosh.
4. Large text files can be scrolled when displayed.
5. Speed improvements in rearranging the presentation list.
6. Limited Undo.
7. Page Setup now available in File menu.
Various minor bug fixes have also be incorporated into v. 1.3.

INSTALLATION
If you received MediaPresenter on diskette then you will need to uncompress the installation file. To install MediaPresenter you should have at least 2 MBs free on your hard disk drive. Double click on the file “MediaPresenter 1.36 LE.sea” to install the application.
SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
MediaPresenter requires a Macintosh with a 68030 processor or greater, including PowerPC, and requires System Software version 7.0 or later.
MediaPresenter requires 6 megabytes of free memory. Depending on the media to be displayed with MediaPresenter, however, you may need to allocate more memory to MediaPresenter using the Get Info dialog box in the finder.
At least 2 MB of free hard disk space should be available.
QuickTime 2.5 system software extension is recommended. QuickTime 2.0+ system software extension required.
KNOWN INCOMPATIBILITIES
There have been reports of a problem concerning RamDoubler™. It is recommended that you turn RamDoubler off before running MediaPresenter. It is also recommended that you turn off the extension Aaron while running MediaPresenter. Please send bug reports and comments to RepSoft@aol.com.
Currently, MediaPresenter can not run off locked media.
